Hand cream - 23-08-06, 11:53 AM

Hi Guys
I was wondering if you could recommend a hand cream for dry hands (my own)
I have been using clarins hand and nail cream for some time which is very nice, I just wondered if there was anything better

Cheers

I just checked your profile and it says you use Creative - well two of their best are the Solar Silk (or Solar Butter) and the Spa Finishing Lotion.

HI...if your hands are really dry then you could use Solar Butter...which is an intensive handcream....solar oil and shea butter make a great combination!!!....and will sort those dry hands out in no time.

Solar Silk is also great....and can be used all over as a body lotion....

I understand why you want a good product for your dry hands, but it may be as well to find out WHY your hands are becoming dry.

Excessive washing or using an alcohol based hand sanitizer often results in dry hands. If this applies to you, I suggest you change your 'soap' and sanitizer to one with skin conditioners so you can use them frequently without any problems.

Vaseline!! My mum has started using it after massaging it into my hands when they were really bad, they made her usually dry, cracked hands really really soft.

I would have to agree with this. I used to always have really sore dry hands. I now keep a Scentsations lotion at all of the sinks in my house (along with the hand wash, which I think has also helped) so I wash my hand and then a little bit of lotion, and my hands are so soft now, all the time
