If you felt that you would be possibly passing your cold/flu onto the client then I would give them a choice (if you feel well enough - if not then just cancel) - then if the clients are happy for you to do the treatments then i would charge them full price! Hope you feel better soon |

If they still want you to come when you have explained you have a bad cold then I would definately charge your normal price. Having something done around their face is obviously not idea when either you or your client has a cold.
Could you not re-schedule for later in the week when you are feeling a little better?

dont give a discount.... thats just silly... if your ill your ill you cnat help it... if you cancelled due to something else then maybe but nt if youe ill
all you need to do is rearrange the appointment.,., unless you feel you maybe well enough... but i wouldnt give your client the choice... as clients (as i found out) wont care that much if your ill as long as you can fit their treatment in.... classic case for me,.... jess you shouldnt be here your ill etc... you should be at home.... but if they werent sitting in front of me and i want doing their nails they wouldnt say it.... well its kinda like you can be ill but i still need my nails doing.... go home after me........lo,olol i hope you feel better anyway and at the end of the day your health is more important than a tenner Jess xox |

Well ive not heard back from my client and her appointment is at 6pm !
Im panicking because im supposed to be going to her friends house to do both of them & I suspect my client was going to go straight there from work so won't have checked her home answer machine (don't have a mobile number) so i have visons of her & friend sat waiting for me !! This could only happen to me

No not just you it has happened to all of us, one way or another, so calm down. By now I gather you either went or your messege said you were to ill to go, if the former I hope it went ok and if the latter then just follow up when you are feeling better and ask when they would like to rescedule.
Even if they have gone else where they will remember that you didn't just leave them hanging but took trouble even though you were ill to sort it all out. hope you feel better soon hun

you should charge the same price and offer to buy them lemsip powders if they catch your flu..................... on a serious note, clients that have been regulars and loyal, we offer discounts when we are doing a promotion, and at christmas buy them a nail varnish in their favourite colour or, hand cream or something to do with nails or hands...........just a thank you!!! we usually get presents to give to our techs too. |

I would not give them a discount partilcularly are only having brow shapes. As a mobile tech in this instance you do not have much profit to work with after taking into account travel time and petrol.
However, I would go out of my way to ensure I re-schedule at a time convenient for them and as soon as I was feeling better. |
