2 weeks ago I ordered some lip gloss that plumped up lips and dyed them for up to 5 days from a company called Beauty Bandits. I paid up front on my credit card. I have not heard or received anything at all. I have tried to phone but the message says that the 'voice mail box is full and cannot take any more messages'. no one has replied to my e-mail and the fax number does not seem to work either. No one is available at Trading Standards at the mo so they will call me back. But I'm feeling really stressed and really stupid too! Has anyone else come across the company or product? The rep showed me pages in mags where beauty editors had used the product and given it a good report. So I thought it was a good thing to do! Sorry for the waffle but I really need to 'let it out'. Thankx

I would report it to your Credit Card company, as they are now involved in the 'supply' contract - ie they paid up in good faith too. They should help you pursue this.

Hope its sorted soon hun, but not meaning to put a downer on things, why call themselves the 'Beauty Bandits'
Are they bandits and con men that sell beauty products to unsuspecting buyers?
We all know how many scammers are out there in this day and age.

I hope thats not the case and you get your product.

Thanks for that Lyndsay I have just contacted the credit card co. they are sending me a form to fill in. Seems like I won't have a prob with getting the money back. Feel better already.

5 days isnt long really, if they dont reply soon, i'd organise to give them their own fat lip

Hia I just looked on there website and found this in the questions and answers section

A. Orders are quoted as being despatched from 7-14 days by standard shipping.
Express shipping costs £8.49 and is guaranteed to be received the next day (providing the order is made before 3pm the previous day and is subject to stock availability.

Did you pay for next day or standard?

I would wait a while longer before you brand them as having ripped you off.
There is probably a valid reason you cant get hold of them.
Good that you have warned the credit company though.

It was 2 weeks since I placed the order. and was told that I would receive it within the week, ie last week. I'll wait a few more days and also see what Trading Standards say too.
