i had 2 days to move into mine and be up and running! i was fully booked, couldnt move the clients as it would mess the appiontment book up, got keys on sat afternoon, and had to be open by the following tue at 10am. crazy but true and i did it, i never slept for 36 hours!
i was buzzing, thats what kept me going. i was lucky, the floor was laid, walls were painted, just threw some posters up, brought the whole of ikea, sat for 36 hrs putting flat pack together and some how it all worked out to be enough for me to carry the treatments out. some days, there would be an electrician up his ladders, men fitting in the sunbed, my mom putting polishes and displays onto shelves, everyone all helped, while i did my clients nails. they didnt mind, just pleased that their nails were done.
a bit different than doing up a salon, then having an opening!
i did the opposite, opening first, then done up salon along the way.
