seeking to go to leeds in the uk for creative academy because i cannot get consistency here in the states as far as training one on one with a creative educator the best seem to be unavailable anyone have advice or suggetions on this matter since this will be my first trip out so far?im just very excited about possibly attending their school so looking for some feedback, thanks

im planning on training with creative next year & from what people on here have said it seems to be the best one, there is a creative nail academy in Manchester, if your flying in to manchester airport.

I've trained at the Leeds Creative Academy and it was excellent each time, the educators are excellent and full of new and exciting ideas. I've not done the one on one yet but hoping to do that soon.

thanks for the response please keep it coming.....ummm however i believe i have decided to go to leeds i believe if researched correctly that it would be bradford airport more conveinant ummm any more creative leeds attendees anyone travel from the states ...im hot about this anxious to hear more..i have 2 licenses for nails only in va. and nj however i dont believe i got a real foundation for nails because im not doing any however when i discovered creative and entity i went to their training however a master/grand i feel i need to be with creative because that is where i ve begun my real training on enhancements im hoping to go to leeds and get what i cant find in the states from creative consisitency for two weeks on being taught acrylic overlay,airbrush,and gel and pray from this experience i master the skill and come home to begin work getting ready god willing i get accepted into creative book camp in 2008 after connecting with doug smith... i live and breathe to nail my way into the creative family and if not accepted then just being the best because i learned from the best will help me grow to success thanks

Yes your right hun the leeds/bradford airport is about a twenty mins drive from the leeds academy, you will have a great time there, all the staff are all lovely and you will get some great training and they have a shop there where you can get everything you will ever need to do nails, leeds centre is quite good for shopping too if you like shopping and the night life is good if you like going out

can someone give me a jist of how american money is converted down there what a reasonable amount of american cash would an individual need for 2 weeks?

Thats a hard one to guess. Depends if you want to stay in luxury or budget!
You're best off searching the internet for a guide on costs in the UK.
All I can say is that when we visit America everything seems really cheap! So you may find the UK really expensive!!

At the moment the exchange rate is crap for you but you can change dollars to pounds at the leeds/bradford airport and leeds train station or you could change it before flying out, as for how much you will need that will depend on what you plan to do while over here, when are you coming to leeds hun

If you give Leeds academy a call they can talk you through what courses they have available. Ask them about 121 courses as well. They will want a payment when you book the course but you can pay over the phone with a credit card.

umm that is what i hear this is my 1st international trip so trying to get my research from the online community and from the street community because they both help someone had told me the american dollar was only worth half there,,,,ive to get more details on how a pound works sorry if im illerate to it...but u definitley gave me a leed on what i need to do upon arrival...well if i can get the money figured out iim hoping coming to leeds and returning back to the states that cnd educators can send me back knowing how to do nails! want to be there in jan for one on one now i read online about the 121 briefly exactly what is that im coming for the 1 on 1 experience ive the master/and the grand from the states but the skill is not perfected yet doing nails...when i come to leeds it will just basically to spend time with creative teachers period....plans to learn how to do a beautiful enhancement!intead of blocks[smile]thank u so much for chatting its very high on my list right now in regard to leeds...keep it coming all details r welcome and needed for guidance especially for u geeks from there thanksssssssssss

thanks ...umm i never made an international call can i get a calling card do u recommend a special one for london?is it dialing a reg number like i would in the states correct? i do know the courses they have available but eventually once i understand the prices for school and flight and hotel cost ill be on my way but im just interested in one on one right now and getting to know the money route[smile]thanks for the reply
