well as alot of you know i was starting in the salon today. this didnt happen, i was supposed to have a coupon in the local paper next to hers, seems odd, that only hers appeared. i been texting and ringing her all week but got no answer. so last night i text her to tell her im not going in the shop at all. low and behold i got a text straight back saying "thats fine". seems to me that she didnt want me there in the first place.............

but i have had calls/emails today wanting booking for jan and feb, and i have 1 client next week for a rebalance, so i suppose i just plod on

oh Glynis... I don't know how much more bad luck you could have re renting space.

bloody hell, it's just so much of a shame that this site can't morph us all into different parts of the country. When i started reading this all i could think is Why? Why would somebody act like this, I cannot understand where this woman is coming from. She just sounds very very stupid and a little nasty.

I do think this is a sign and that you should go at it alone. Are you working from home at the mo. with the clients you have? It would be great to build on them and have no one to answer to other than yourself.

ive often wondered this myself flower, i do have a few (and i mean minimal) clients that i do on a reg basis, but thats not enough. i also do mobile, but thats gone out the window too, i think there are just too many tech in my town, and some are soo cheap, and i aint lowering my prices, the dearest is £48 and the cheapest is £15 so i dont think my prices are unreasonable (£34). ive now given up on being miserable about it, it dont do the health much good
