Ah well, I've just bought a display deal for the salon!
I suppose companies prey on the fact that so many people are unhappily obese they will pay for anything that tells them they can still eat all the crap they want if they just pop a pill If they don't take off, can always sell them on Ebay. Apparently Harrods stock them, Boots in Ireland and Selfridges. There are little trial size bottles for 4.99 - enough for 3 days, and apparently they do make you lose weight in 3 days and people come back and buy more. |

Yeas they do work!
The thing is they are a herbal suppliment that makes you feel fuller tahn you are so that you dont eat as much! Obviously with any sort of weight loss it shouldbe done correctly, proper excersise and diet not stuffing yourself with mars bars and pizza and then popping pills, they are not teh answer just a little helping hand which alot of people need no matter how much they need to loose. I wouldnt say a trial size though works as it isnt really long enough in your system.........believe me i have tried them all Amanda |

Can I butt in?
I really hate products like this, that prey on people who are unhappy and offer them a miracle cure. The only guaranteed method of to loose weight is very simple. BURN MORE CALORIES THAN YOU EAT! or put another way. EAT LESS, EXERCISE MORE. Its harsh, but at least its fair and can be done for free. (Obviously doesn't apply if you have some kind of medical condition for being overweight). |

... they are herbal supplements claiming to suppress your appetite. What's so wrong with that? It could be worse - I could be selling speed, which alot of overweight people take because they are unhappy as you say. It is better for people to be taking relatively cheap herbal tablets, that give you energy and if nothing else... may have a placebo affect.. than people carving off pounds of flesh under a surgeons knife, or worse still... becoming so obese that they end up with an eating disorder. |

Macdonalds and Wimpys don't make false claims that you're going to lose weight should you shovel down four big macs and a bucket of coke! In fact they do quite the opposite and inform consumers of the fat/calorie/sodium content now, don't they? I wouldn't know, I never go to these places. What herbs are in these herbal tablets then? |

Hi I can tell you a couple that work:
- ephedrine (you can not buy ths legally but you can buy it in herbal form legally called Ma Huang, this is a nervous system stimulanty. It's best run along side a caffine tablet. - hoodia is an appitite supressive - in my salon we sell trimmers because that's what people buy, they say they work. |

Lets face it you cant take them forever, they dont re - educate us on food intake etc. I think short term they are brill. But if there really are food issues then it's important to get specialist help. I would sell them,I think people have their own minds and if they want them so be it.If you dont sell them someone else will. |
