I wouldn't like to be in your shoes!! You could cause some real bad feeling between you and the other girl here.
Did the ambassador not check the girls work? Maybe your model could have a word, it's her finger!! Or, maybe instead of going to your trainer have a word with the girl yourself, gently, gently though she could take major offence. If I was the other girl I would appreciate somebody telling me, I think I would feel differently about somebody going behind my back though. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!! Teri x

I have to agree with teri....It could get a little nasty if you start going behind her back.
I would have a quiet word with the other girl or get the model to have a word, like teri said its her hand and fingers that are hurting. It can all be done tactfully and without any malice if handled in the right way, maybe the other girl just needs a little directional pointing as to where she could improve regarding the natural nail. Good luck in whatever you decide

I'm so sorry to make it harder for you but i have to disagree with the others
I think it would sound better coming from your ambassador rather than yourself "a beginner" iykwim, she may just take it as bitching rather than constructive criticism. Maybe the best way for you to keep out of it would be if your model rung CNA .... Best of luck ![]() Ps,look at it as maintaining our industry's standards rather than snitching xx |

I guess its one of those scenarios where you have to do whats best for you at the time. Also why not say you could work together to help improve on certain areas, help each other out if one is struggling on an area where the other feels a little more confident. Just a thought hun. Either way i would love to hear how you get on, fingers crossed it runs smoothly for you

this is defo a difficult one especially when you are training - i know when i was at college just saying the slightest thing could offend some of the girls!! maybe tell the ambassador then she can take it from there - i thingk she should have checked whilst this was happening?? then when she 'notices' what has happened she can maybe approach the girl?? i know everyone will have such varied opinions on things like this - what a nitemare xx

Yes I would tell your Ambassador, if s/he wants to see the models nails for themselves then try to arrange it, then leave it to the professionals to handle as they see fit
The Ambassadors are trained in all aspects of teaching, this will include pointing out issues without revealing their source I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot, you would rather hear constructive criticism from your Tutor than another Student?? |

What a hard decision for you to make hun, a similiar thing happened at college when i was training, one of the students overfiled another students nail while practising (which was a good friend of mine too) she didnt know whether to say anything and i told her that she should as this student is learning and we need to know our mistakes and correct them luckily it
wasnt a client, but the tutor showd her what she was doing wrong and my mate felt really bad but the other student took it well and she agreed that it was better to be told, rather than continue and do the same on clients. I would agree that it is best to advise the Tutor/Ambassador Good Luck xx |

To be fair to the abassador, she did pull the girl up on a couple things during the time she was working on my lady. The annoying thing was this girl said to me as I was applying the product.......'oh, someone's got some finishing to do!' I ignored it as I have had my nails used as an example for the finish I have produced. I am not the type to get into any fights over it. I think I will have a quiet word with my ambassador, which is what I intended to do all along. I am too new to this myself to me correcting others.
As for the attention being drawn to it 'after the fact'.surely it's better I say something rather than nothing. Don't we learn from mistakes? Myself and my model did,,,,,never lend a hand again!! lol |

To be honest, I wouldn't do anything. I would trust the Ambassador to do her job and I would tend to my own affairs. Nothing will be gained for you through this. I know this goes against what anyone else has said, but if you hadn't have told us that you find this girl annoying... I would have perhaps felt inclined to tell you that you could have a little word with the girl who caused the sore thumb. |
