Rolleyes I need it bad!! - 30-05-07, 05:06 PM

I'm having a party this weekend and I'm in need of a good Sangria recipe ......I had some lovely ones when I went to Mexico that were two toned.....(imagine the glass)....sangria was white/clear in the bottom and red/burgundy on the top......till you blended it ......yyuumm......would love one like that to impress my guests......but will take any other yummy ones if anyone has a recipe they want to share.....

I've no receipes of my own for Sangria Melissa, but you'd have to go a long way to beat an authentic Spanish version:

The best spanish sangria recipe!

as expected, I know a sangria recipe LMAO (I'm not an alky really )

Who knows how to make trifle??????
to that recipe you can add brandy, gin, and/or vodka... add plenty of fruit, cut up into small chunks.. apple, strawberries, lemon and orange etc

Have you tried searching on google for a two tone recipe? it sounds fab

I have a very old spanish friend who is now well into her seventies and this is the receipe her and her hubby gave me.

Soak fruit overnight with sugar in your jug - this allows it to ferment
next day add: red wine, orange liquer, banana liquer, brandy and last a little 7 up (and I mean a little - maybe 1/8th of a pint), finally some ice. It is very potent but very very nice.
