From experience of another company these things are quite genuine as long as you are prepared to have a really hard sell talk for hours and hours.I think now they also expect you to visit site as well so you could be being dragged around holiday ownership properties.
So it depends on how much you are willing to do that for the time you have there. If its just a talk id do it if you can take the hard sell ,and it is hard. If you have to go visiting i'd think about it because it can be a right pain. |

thanks I just know that you never get something for nothing but she did say it wasn't to sell time share and we have to travel 4 hours to get to where they want us to go (we live quite remote) so wasn't sure if its gonna be worth the drive but i'm always up for a cheap holiday!

If you do decide to do it though and you get the hard sell talk make it clear with your spouse at the beginning that neither of you want a holiday home because they can truly make it very tempting. If you do want a holiday home still dont be interested because like all good sales people once they have spoken to their managers, managers manager they knock 75% off

hi hun, just wanted to let you know, we did this 3 years ago, had to sit through very long presentation and could have walked away with a free holiday to one of 6 european destinations for £30 pp, but we decided to go ahead and buy into the ownership scheme, it cost £3,000 but we had 5 vouchers to use in 3 years and could also book with another company and just pay £100 per week plus flights, unfotunalty due to hubbys workload we've only taken 3 of the holidays (just came back of last one yesterday) but the three we've taken have been amazing, they really are 5 star resorts, and without being nasty, everyone else at the resort has paid for ownership like you, so people are lovely, no scallys etc (well only when we go pmsl) for us as a family of 5 to go away it would be a minumum of £2,000 each time just cheap hotel and prob only 2 or 3 star , and to go away where we've just been in half term the cost was £5,450!!! so the £3,000 plus flights we've paid so far has been a bargain
ive got to say its been worth every penny, and sadly it runs out in october, and we dont have enough to take up the lifetime membership, at the mo, but will in the future, so if you can be bothered sitting through presentation, its well worth it, if you dont want to buy into the ownership at least think about taking the holiday and then just refuse to go on the presentations whilst your away, cos the first one we went on we spent half a day eith them, but still fab |

Thanks for that. Unfortunately i cant make it down for the presentation next week as i have an exam on the monday so think i'll give it a miss this time but at least now I know it's not a complete con I might give it a go next time (I do like my 5 star!) lol We havent booked a holiday this year yet so it might have been worthwhile but will see how I get on with revision for exam. Shame its so far away (4 hour drive) or I wouldve just popped down for the presentation anyway just to see. Thanks so much for your replies though!!
