Dear Geeks

I am currently researching like mad, hoping to make a move into nails and beauty at some point in the not too distant future. Given my age (30, so not got one foot in the grave yet but still!) and the fact that it's likely I won't be entirely NVQ'd up, working for myself would seem the likeliest option once I have qualifications and sufficient skills to be let loose on the paying public!
I was wondering if it might be worthwhile doing some kind of business or accounting course?
If any of you lovely geeks can advise I'd be very grateful!
