Inexpensive Acrylic to Gel course in NW any suggestions? - 12-10-08, 08:13 PM

I've been doing Acrylic for a year now but want to do a course to learn gel, can anyone recommend an inexpensive course in the North West? (I am based in Manchester)

Thanks in advance

If you are still to qualify in acrylic then anything you do in gel will be a foundation course (I think).

Wouldn't you be better finishing your course in acrylic then doing a conversion course in your chosen system?

It doesn't actually say which system you are using as partof your training in your profile. Where are you training now and what course is it you are doing?

Lots of geeks on here can give you advice on the different courses available but it helps them to know where you're at now first

I have qualified in Acrylics and have been practising for a year, sorry I didn't make myself very clear. I trained in NSI and Creation L&P systems.

Why don't you just do a one day workshop with NSI to transfer your skills to gel application. This is what I am doing this week. It's only a one day so isn't overly expensive but you will need to invest in a kit at some point. Not sure what kit you need to do the course though.
