I have used the post-it labelling for muscles of the face before which created lots of hilarity in the room.
if you have an interactive whiteboard, you can get the skeleton up and get people to label it, they love that as its high-tec. When i did my interactive whiteboard training we also had blockbusters which again was great fun, very visual. One thing I have done in the past also, is using eyeliners OR washable felt tip pens, get students to draw on a volunteers leg and foot the bones. One other tip, get everyone to sit in a circle, and go around the class getting people to shout out a bone of the foot and you write it on the board, by the time you have written it down and turned round for the next one, its given the next person time to think of one. this is a super thread, and would love more tips and ideas for future reference. I also use the eyeliner for drawing on reflexes on the feet. If I'm demoing reflexology, I draw the zones onto peoples feet too. |
