Probably too late, but something that my tutor did this week that was quite fun.

Two people sit on a desk at the front of the room. Two teams of 3 or 4. The other people sit at the back, and take it in turns to shout out a bone or muscle. One person from each team writes the name of that bone/muscle on a post it and runs to one of the people on the desk and sticks the post it where they think the bone is. The team who has the bones in the right place in the shortest time wins.

When I was on the desk, paletine was shouted, and I ended up with a post it in my mouth

Just thought it might help for a future class!

I have used the post-it labelling for muscles of the face before which created lots of hilarity in the room.

if you have an interactive whiteboard, you can get the skeleton up and get people to label it, they love that as its high-tec.

When i did my interactive whiteboard training we also had blockbusters which again was great fun, very visual.

One thing I have done in the past also, is using eyeliners OR washable felt tip pens, get students to draw on a volunteers leg and foot the bones.

One other tip, get everyone to sit in a circle, and go around the class getting people to shout out a bone of the foot and you write it on the board, by the time you have written it down and turned round for the next one, its given the next person time to think of one.

this is a super thread, and would love more tips and ideas for future reference.

I also use the eyeliner for drawing on reflexes on the feet. If I'm demoing reflexology, I draw the zones onto peoples feet too.

Yay, well done you for using the body art technique as a teaching aid. Have you found it works well?

Ah cool that sounds fab! I guess they come in a range of different colours for marking out different bones too? Do you do much in the way of henna, or just now and then?
