the H is sticking up on my keyboard on my laptop. Its at a 45 degree angle sticking up to the right.

at the moment it isn't affecting my typing as such but I am worried that it will fall off.

is their anything I can do to nip this in the bud and be proactive rather than reactive.

Can you put a bit of pressure on it with your finger to try and click it back in place?

my laptop ws 3 days old when my son pulled off the number 7 key and chewed it, I was gutted.

Whilst cleaning my keyboard with the duster attachement on my hoover I vacuumed up my S key! I managed to replace it but i has never worked properly since and I generally have to go back and correct a post 2 or 3 times because of a missing S!!!

The K has been missing off my daughter's laptop for a few weeks now. (The dog ran across the keyboard and took the key with him lol). Have to say though she has a dell laptop, the key is completely missing but it works fine. ALthough I think she's seeing it as an excuse to nag for an upgrade!

thanks for your advice and I sympathise with you all.

I did have a little go (half-heartedly I admit) and it just stuck up like a ski slope.

anyway, had another go this morning and it seems to have clicked back in place, its not 100% but its 95% better.

Mine's a dell too and I love love love it!
