Help I'm a new Salon Owner! - 06-10-09, 08:16 PM

I need some much needed advice- my dad who I love dearly lol and am trying to help jumpstart a salon that he just purchased isn't going well!! I can't get any stylists in my salon I've had wanted ads up for three weeks 3 interviews, 2 of which were no shows, I'm ofering booth rental which seems to be the way to go in the industry I guess, but this one lady I really like and want to bring in she has 10 years in the area but had to take a break for a few years due to her pregnancy. However what I'm finding out is noone can afford the cost of their products in order to do booth rental! I understand if I offer commission I supply the product, but what EXACTLY am I suppling andn how would I keep up with how much business they did in order to pay commissions? I need to get worker's in or we'll have to sell and we havn't even opened!!!
