Its brilliant stuff , its gap filling adhesive too . Perfect for acrylics x

I normally use either gel bond or NSI glue but I went to ellisons yesterday and there wasn't any gel bond so I brought star nails fast glue and it's really good. Have used it on all my clients today and no problems. It's dries within 5 secs.

It is not adhesive that makes L&P acrylic nails stay on but application, mix ratio and a good bond to the nail. A nail adhesive just adheres the tip to the nail to give a platform for the acrylic.

Or are you gluing on stick on nails here, you arenot very clear lol and I am easily confused

i am glue'ing on nail tips , need some strong glue x

Then what will you be doing with them? Applying an acrylic overlay?
This is in the consumer queries and you only show as a tanning pro not a nail pro so I am even more confused now lol

Just wanted to bump this thread. I posted a similar question a while back but relating to natural nails or possibly Shellac, for repairing nails with cracks and bought Gel Bond as recommended. Not sure if I am doing something wrong but I find Gel bond takes and absolute AGE to dry and then doesnt hold as well as I would expect it to. My clients have also said it hasnt held and have resorted to superglue!

Could anyone shed any light on this?

In what way are you using the gelbond to repair a crack? I think it would need some form of strength from a fabric or fibreglass, not just glue itself. I'm not sure though.

I believe gelbond needs pressure to set so it will take a long time to go off. I wouldn't use superglue though!! It's not designed for use on nails!

Why not look into how to use fibreglass for natural nail repairs instead?

I had no intention of using super glue! My point is that the clients arent finding Gel bond holds well enough so have used glue at home!

Im hoping someone can help in that case. I only so natural nails and Shellac and have no experience with Silk/fibre glass etc so wouldnt know how to repair this way. I usually only have the one or two clients who have snagged their nails and want something to hold it until it grows out slightly, I was hoping Gel Bond was the product Id been looking for but perhaps not?

Any advice out there?
