Treatment for heat damaged hair - 09-09-09, 10:25 AM

Hi there. I need some advice for a friend.

She's 19 and has very dry and brittle natural hair and hair extensions due to (she thinks) excessive straightening. I don't know if the extensions are natural hair or not.

Obviously the best thing she could do would be to go to a salon but she has just finished college and is still looking for work. Money is tight and it will be a few weeks before she can afford to get to a salon.

Is there a good product she could use in the meantime? Bless her, she's really down about it.

Many thanks hair geeks.

It can be tricky because of the extensions. It would be a good idea to find out what brand of hair she has in and then check if that company make a specific treatment for the extended hair. That will also treat the nat. hair too.
It would cost £10- £15 for the treatment but they are concentrated and you would definitely get your moneys worth.
