Im based 7 minutes drive from my local town centre, i have no passing trade and the retail units beside me dont bring much business either, im open over 3 years and am just ticking over, this month is really quiet but i feel november has always been this way, Im considering moving into the town centre as i will have more passing trade, more people will know about me and i wont really have to advertise, There are a few salons in the town but only 2 that i would consider competition really, Im introducing laser hair removal and microdermabrasion to my salon next week and i will be the only salon offering laser. Just wanted a bit of advice - I was going to offer £5 file and polishes and give out leaflets, offer my gift voucher also.

I've got the stall for two hours, I don't know where to start with what to take like equipment and stuff, and do I take people's details aswell, like a mini consultation form?

my local printers is charging £24 for 10 vouchers.

I have colour A4 flyers. and they are charging £40 to reduce to a5 for 100 copies... to me seems a bit steep but im not a printer so no clue....

Your thoughts the above much appreciated.

Well I am a newly qualified CND L&P tech, and now need to look at being able to work.

My local hairdresser has a nail set up & i found out the Beauty Therapist who works 3 days a week there only does manicures. My idea was to approach the owner of the hairdresser & see if I would be able to work 2 or 3 days a week offering Nail Enhancements.

My problem is I am not sure if I should try to arrange a set figure for renting the table regardless of how many clients I see or if it should be done on a split of the money per client I see :confused:

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
