I know that using a boar bristle hair brush is good for distributing your hair oils and make your hair smooth and shiny.

But could one use it on wet hair to blowdry with to keep the hair taut and straightdry it? Or is that too harsh for wet hair?

What kind of brush should I use when my hair is wet to straightdry it?

I also have thin hair so.. I need something that won't cause much harm..

I love a Denman brush, you can get many types and they really are nice on the hair. D4 or D3 Classic are nice. I find I have more control with this brush. For boar bristle, Mason Pearson is the best.

Make sure your hair isn't sopping wet when you start styling, that can damage your hair. Towel dry your hair, then partially dry it with a blow dryer and you will have better results.

It's also important to make sure you have a great haircut. When it's cut properly, you shouldn't have to fuss with it too much.
