I need help, can you please advise whether I can mix 40 vol (12%) L'oreal Oxydant Creme with Majirel Colour Creme, shade- lightest Ash Blond? I am confused as on the instruction it says I can only use it with 9% maximum. What would be the consequences?
Please any advice is very much appreciated.

I used to use wella and mixed it with welloxon peroxide.
This time decided to go for L'oreal, and just now realized that it actually says on the big bottle L'oreal Oxydant Creme, not Peroxide,is it the same as Peroxide or is it different? can I use it for with mixing blond colours?
it will not give me green colour or mair hair will not fall off, or should I better go for 9%?

i believe it is the same as peroxide yes, but i dont know if your hair will fall off or not! It really depends on the strength and elasticity of your hair, and where the colour is applied. It is much stronger than 9% and if used wrongly can cause scalp burns. Hair tone is usually down to the tint used ,not the peroxide , or any hidden nasty minerals that can come from water softeners or sun -in .
I cant advise you to go for either 9 or 12 % because it completely depends on natural colour and conditon both of hair and scalp which needs to be seen which is why we advise people to go to hairdressers!

I used to use 12% Welloxon with Wella Kolleston, and it actually worked well for my hair, and did not really damage my scalp, that is why when I decided to use L'oreal I also went for 12%, but got really confused as on the tint instruction it said use with 9% maximum.
What is 12% used for then?

12% is usually used to mix with hi-lift tint for hi-lites and off-scalp techniques.

You can use 40% with 10.1 or 10.2 etc......they dont advise it on the manufacturers instructions because they wont guarantee the colour is at its BEST...however I used it on a girl with mousey blonde hair, to make sure it lifted light enough and it works fine.

If you are any darker than a blonde shade already... you need to use highlift tint instead
