Hiya

I have started using these lately as they have more lift than L'Oreal....

Tonight I used 12/81 on a friends hair.... I used 40VOL on the roots and 20VOL on the ends..... I did this because her ends where dry and I thought it would be less harsh than putting 40vol through the ends (like I usually do).

Anywho.....it left a slight purple tone on her ends and dry bits.......now was this because I used 20vol? or will it just have been the amount of tone on the dry hair?

Would it still have left it slightly purple using 40VOL on the ends?

12/81 is very purple... I was quite shocked.

Any comments appreciated.....

The purple tone washed out after a few washes - THANK GOD

20v lifts then deposits.

The highlift blondes are to be used with 30 and 40 vol.

I rarely, if ever use 12.81.

I wouldn't have highlighted her ends.
