Processor Steamer or Hood dryer ? - 29-01-12, 09:02 AM

Hi could someone explain the differences between these please?
I have a home salon and need to look into speeding up my colouring services and I'm getting confused as to which of these would be the most suitable..and what the difference is,other than price!

Don't bother! It might speed up your colour but it also changes how the colour works, your bleach swells more and everything becomes un predictable, even though it says halve your development time.
And colour bleeds a lot more!

I'm not a fan of either, steamer I'd wet moist heat and processor depending which type is either infra red or dry air blown heat.

Ahh really..my next question was going to be directly to you as well. You've inspired me to switch to matrix and I was going to ask if the heat worked well with it. Oh well I'll just continue to twiddle my thumbs..thanks for the advice

The only thing matrix and heat are ok with is graphics but again it does change it and you see the change when you go to remove the foils, matrix is not long development, of you come across any probd with matrix you know where I am, I will help as best I can x
