L'Oreal Majicontrast magenta red - 13-02-12, 09:10 AM

Hi
I coloured hair last night in magenta red by l'oreal majicontrast and the result was amazing...she has already coloured red hair and wanted it to be a deeper colour. As her hair was short we did an all over colour and it turned out well and she was happy. However she washes her hair everyday and she has a few blonde highlights going through her t bar which are turning a pinky tone (I know magenta red is a fuscia pink tone) I just wanted to know what I can put on the lighter bits to get it to the deep red like the rest of the hair? She's worried she will have light pink hair soon! Any help would be great...I used 6% and her natural base is 6

Majicontrast isn't a global colour so take care incase someone had an adverse reaction, you won't be covered by your insurance. I use this in foils and when it fades I bung on a paint box red x

L'Oreal Majicontrast magenta red - 13-02-12, 11:06 AM

Hi all...
I coloured someone hair yesterday with magenta red with l'oreal majicontrast. I used 6% and left for 25 mins as her base is about 6 and her hair was already a washed out red. I did a full head as her hair is short and it turned out really nice and she was happy wot the deep vibrant colour. However as she washes her hair every day it has started to go a bit pinky on her blonde highlights around her t bar, just a few select pieces...she doesn't want them turning a washed out pink or pink at all, still wants the red tone...I know magenta red has fuscia pink as a tone but is there anything Incan put on to keep it more red? She's not after pillar box red any suggestions would be great

Maji contrast should not be applied to scalp and it shouldn't be taken off before development time is up! Try 6.66

Over blonde a crazy colour would probably be better, cause less damage aswell. Try crazy colour fire its the same pinky red as majicontrast and it lasts ages on porous hair x

It says in instructions and if she is base 6 use 10vol instead and it will still lift cause its a highlift red.

Crazy colour Fire is great for refreshing bright reds with pinky undertones :-) I don't use loreal i only use matrix and love the new red+'s.
