V05 hot oil treatment - 15-03-12, 02:25 PM

I'm a hairdresser and I'm a bit of a product snob and only ever use professional salon products as I believe they truly are better. At the minute I use kerastase.

But a friend of mine said v05 have a hot oil treatment that actually work. Has anyone used it? And what do you think?

I used to have waist long dyed blonde hair and treated it with Hot Oil at least once a month(twice a month when i used to go swimming) and it works a treat.leaves my hair in fab condition even though i had a moment of madness last year and chopped my hair like Roxy Mitchell and dyed it red x

When my hair was very over processed and in a very awful state after a dodgey salon experience i used it! And it helped a lot! But as my hair calmed down (and most of it cut off) i thought id use it again and it made my hair feel awful!...if my hair was ever in that state again i'd consider using it, in any other situation i wouldnt touch it!

My hairdresser hates this stuff and slags it off all the time and then goes to the drug store and buys Sally Hansen nail wraps as she loves my Minx.................

I tryed this a couple of months back, and found it didn't do alot, just made my hair feel a bit heavy. But prob coz I'm used to using a deep conditioning treatment rather then an oil x
