Bleach for a really sensitive scalp? - 26-07-12, 09:53 AM

Anyone know of a good scalp bleach, i have a lady with a very very sensitive scalp but has full head bleach.
I was thinking of trying the Joico scalp bleach as i hear its quite gentle on the scalp, has anyone used it? Thanks

Which do you generally use?
I used blue at first and loved it but seemed to have changed after a while and wouldn't lift as good.
Then I changed to white and the same happened.
Now I use lite, but don't find it as nice on the hair.
Thinking of changing brands for bleach, possibly to matrix but it's a pain having extra peroxide just for bleach

Do you guys think putting a little macadamia oil/morrocan oil in with the bleach would help protect her scalp any?xx

Kitoko (sister company of Affinage) have a protein additive in their range and it helps reduce scalp sensitivity and reduce damage in the same way as adding oil...but its a specific product just for colour so it would save money in the long run for anyone who uses their oil in colour or bleach.
