The other thing that I do know is the yuko system comes in different brands, the best one that the stylist i know have tried and uses is the famous top japanese brand called 'Shiseido', who also produces cosmetic and skincare.

Which is also the reason why I have a fair amount of knowledge of the performance of this product and what is required to maximise the benefit of this product.

Having said that though, I do not know the actual chemical used in the yuko, but I certainly can found out for you when I get the chance if you are interested to know?

Hi, thank you Flower I would really like that , I am always interested in different products ,
thanks once again x minky

It takes a long time, but he results are fantastic
the condition and shine is great
my clients just love it.

Price wise is the yuko or ukon dearer than the wellastrate?
because the opinions on the internet a while ago, said wellastrate is just as good in all aspects , minky
Hi
Can you get the hair 100% straight with Wellastrate?.
I am tempted to chemically straight my hair but unsure what to expect as i want it to be straight (when air dryed) and look natural and not flat.
I heard good things about Yuko but quite pricey compared to Wellastrate.

Wellastrate Prep Cream, Straight Saver, Care Booster - 14-12-08, 11:12 AM

Can Wellastrate MILD be used (cold method, process without hot irons) without using the Wellastrate Prep Cream and Wellastrate Straight Saver when you don't have any?

(To be used on slightly wavy hair, to make it more manageable.)

What's the Wellastrate Car Booster for? Any significant results with it's use?

Thanks..

Hi

I had Yuko done on my hair 7 months ago. It is fantastic. I had tried other types of straightening before this and it is not the same at all. I had hair breakage from previous thermal straightening, which is why I decided to try Yuko.

My hair was so easy to manage. I say was, because I now need to have it done again. I have a about an inch or so of re-growth. The only downside is the price, but I suppose you also have to put yourself in the position of the hair technician doing it - it isn't something that is done monthly so they have to make it worthwhile.

I say 10/10 for Yuko.

Hair Length FAQ.
----------------
Short Hair: hair above shoulder length, to the chin
Medium Hair: hair till shoulder length, from chin to shoulders
Long Hair: hair below shoulder length, up to bra strap
Extra Long Hair: hair below bra strap

Results are excellent but it can take 3-4 hours.
It's a real time saver once Yuko Hair Straightening is applied and it would get heads turning ;-)

Thanks..

Hi, as long as you use the two main creams and the hair is natural and not coloured it should be ok ,
but it would be better with the extras

use the straightening cream and the nuetralizing cream as directed on the pack

just follow the pack instructions
as it has all the instructions for performing the relaxing procedure without using hot irons

Ps, dont over comb it with the straightening cream on as it can over stretch the hair

its always best to use what Wella reccomend as the prep cream
would probably even out the porosity
and the care booster
would really boost the care of the hair , by putting the moisture back in and greatly restoring the hairs PH

NEVER GO THERE!!!

I tried once and the result was a total nightmare,
she put products in my eyes, I cried for days, she made me pay more than the asked price, and today my hair are even curlier than before and totaly dry, I had to cut them short...
I can assure you they are the worse place I ever tried, and I had 5 yuko before so I know what I am talking about.

Getting the product in the eyes and asking you pay more than the asked price is clearly the fault of the stylist and NOT the product. Your hair is curlier now than before may be because the stylist did not use the product correctly.

Why did you get your hair done with yuko 5 times if you are so unsatissfied with the products and results...?? It seems awfully strange....
