Question Too old for apprenticeship? - 25-09-08, 09:51 AM

Has anyone over the age of the standard limit of 24 done a hairdressing apprenticeship? If so what happened-did you do it voluntary or did you get a training wage-is it compulsory for a salon to pay you if youre over a certain age? The reason I ask is I am looking for a salon to take me on to finish my level 2nvq and if it is a legal requirement for them to pay me this may put them off training me as I am now 25?? xx
