I'd like to bump this post up, not because I like to bump posts up intentionally but because this is an article that ALL GEEKS need to read just as a reminder.

Ok

Tried to add my logo to my signature as it looks a bit silly as my avatar.

Now - I have adjusted the file size to the minimum acceptable but it still doesnt seem to show!

Any ideas why?

Question and intention of bumping this. I have found a few geeks with signatures that advertise..their salon website and other stuff. Please check your signatures

I've never managed to add mine either Theresa and long since gave up. Does it have to be a certain file type I wonder? Mine were jpeg, but maybe a gif would work better. Who knows?

I have to admit...
When I see the bigger signatures, ESPECIALLY the ones with .gif images or whatever.. I get annoyed because I removed mine out of respect even though I LOVED it (pics of my girls on charms). I then adjusted it to follow the rules exactly.

I'd like to see others show the same respect to the rules.

Updated with the following point:

Signatures are not a place to advertise. Promotional verbiage in off-site links will be treated the same as spamming.
