Here is the low down on how to add a poll to a new topic.

When you create a new topic (this is the only time you can add a poll, you can not add one if you are replying to a thread), you will notice a section below the message box called 'Additional Options' (see attachment #2)...

In the additional options, you will find the Post a poll option (attachment #1). Simply tick this (along with setting the number of options in your poll) and Bob is your Uncle.

Once you submit your thread, you will be taken to a screen that looks like the third attachment.
