Wink Hi Im new - 09-07-06, 12:31 PM

Hello to everyone, I have just registered today.
I am starting my Creative Nail foundation Course in September of this year, and I cant wait!! My aim is to do the whole thing, all courses that are available to me, so that I can be as fully qualified as possible.
If anybody can help me by giving me a rough time that this might take, I would be eternally grateful!
At the end of all this training I want to open up my own business, first of all starting by working from home.
I have had a keen interest in nails, for as long as I can remember, I did my own nails on my Wedding day, friends and family come to me to have their nails done, so I thought why not just go for it. My husband is behind me 100% and I cant think of anything else I would rather do.
Cant wait!!
Pleased to meet you all anyway!
Hayls xx

Hi there, and welcome

thats great u have booked your course and want to go all the way...you will always be learning and extending your skills

I dont think there is a definate time scale regarding being 'ready', lots of practice required, and always learning...its a bit like passing your driving test, that doesnt mean u are a good driver, practice makes perfect....

I too trained with Creative, and the produts are great with a fabulous range of colours and stuff...

what are you starting on Brisa (gel) or l&p (liquid and powder)?

good luck with it all,
Michelle

Hi Im new - 09-07-06, 01:44 PM

Hello to you all,
I am back after a six month absence(I have been moving from Greece to Bulgaria). So now with our own server on the chimney I feel I am back in civilisation!I did nails for 21 years in the UK,7 years in Greece and have yet to do any here.As you can see I am not young in years, but inside I feel around eighteen!I absolutely love doing nails, have never dreaded one days work,in fact I am missing it a lot just now.Lots of luck to all new nailtechs......
