From a poster to a lurker -
09-01-07, 07:06 PM
I used to post quite often but now only browse really. The reason being that I feel most topics have been covered already and even when a new one arises it is answered before I get the chance! I still occasionally pick up new tips and tricks though which help so will continue to browse for some time to come.....

another lurker -

we are all coming to the surface now. I'm at work geeking (and I probably shouldn't be) but this site is so inciteful as I am in training so I can follow my dream rather than be a PA for the rest of my life! I honestly don't know what I would have done if i hadn't found this site. It's brilliant.
truly grateful for all tips etc; |

I've been gone a while and only recently started popping in again so I'm a lurker again. Funny how quickly you can feel 'out of the loop', not that I was ever in it but you know what I mean

Not sure i am classed as a lurker.. but i did spend the first few weeks just cruising and only posting on topics i thought were relevant to me.. Its important to find your groove baby! TBH i have enjoyed reading just as much as posting.. so much so that im looking into doing a creative course next month because i am REALLY interested in using their products..((Cant hurt to see how it goes when offering it to my clients)) Also untill i found this Gem of a site i had never really considered Airbrushing.. but i think there could be a major market for it where i am..not to mention the fact that it has stimulated me visualy!!
so all in all.. lurking was a bit of a godsend.. But Im out and Im proud now.. |

I lurked totally for the first 6 months as I had trouble getting my account activated and couldn't post at all. Now I'm able to post you'll probably still not hear much from me. I have very little experience so for now will watch and learn and hopefully in time will be able to pass on some knowledge to other newbies.

I lurk because I feel that other geeks have more knowledge as I have just completed my course and don't want to seem silly. As I don't want to be a PA for the rest of my working life I use this site a lot to search for help on topics that I don't feel confident in. The site is fantastic and full of great information, tips, etc. I'll try not to lurk any more

Am trying to enrol on a training course at the mo. So whilst I am waiting am trying to gather as much info and advice as possible. But I don't feel that I am in a position to comment on any professional topics so if nobody minds can I continue to lurk for a while longer.
