A First Timer....

Hey all

This is my first posting cos I've been trying to suss the forums out and have enjoyed having a good rummage around.

I'm Nic (as the username probably gives away !) from Aberdeen, Scotland and am currently seriously considering a change of career. After 15 years in admin work I'm bored, bored, bored. Also, me and my husband are half way through the visa process for emigrating to Australia so BIG changes ahead...fingers crossed !

Wasn't sure where to start with finding out info about nail courses but decided on Creative Nails following a link from this site. They were really helpful and there is a nail academy in Aberdeen with spaces on their beginners course in September. However, I'm a bit concerned that any courses I do here in the UK won't be recognised in Australia.

The Nail Geek site is fabby doo, there's so much info I'm feeling a bit bamboozled so would love to hear any advice that you girls have and look foward to getting to know you better.

Don't worry about your CND qualifications....they are Globally recognised...and there are loads of great Creative Australian geeks on here and even a Fab New Zealand CND Ambassador!!!

HEY nIC AND WELCOME... Both Australia Nail Academy Perth and Pacific Nail (Gold Coast) will recognise our certficates ao as they say down under.... no worries!

That's definitely made up my mind to get myself booked on the Creative Nails foundation course, roll on September - much excitement !!!!
