introducing myself -

Hi everyone
this is Dee. I'm just introducing myself. I have decided on a career change so I'm definitely new to all this. Need some advice regarding where to go for training in nail extensions. Been advised about a trainer called Gigi Rouseau (May have that name slightly wrong). Would like advice on fees for training and how long it takes to train. Do you have to be artistic? Having had my nails extended in the past for special occasions. I found a person who spread the nail material so thin the nails would constantly break. Another who spread far to thick and they looked all clumpy. Finally found a brilliant chinese man who did the most perfect nails that never fell off and looked completely natural. I came to the conclusion that he must have some sort of special skill. Any advice would be welcome especially on training and expense of setting up. (I intend to run the business from my home which is a little cottage on a busy main road. Cheers Dee |

Hi and welcome to the board. Have a look at this article I wrote which may just help a little http://www.thenailgeek.com/training/...-i-choose.html .
Gigi Rouse is a fab educator and is Geeg on the board. However she has taken semi retirement in Spain, so you may have to travel quite a distance if you would like her to train you! I recommend phoning the number that Mandy has given you and they can answer any queries and send you out the training portfolio for Creative. |
