Hi I'm Chris and new to the industry and the Forum. Just booked on today for the L & P course although slightly confused as I have read the booklet and everything seems so daunting (never done anything like this before) Will probably be asking the most stupid of questions and creating lots of embarrassment for myself but there you go!!!

Welcome to the board Chris. You will enjoy it here but it is addictive.
Dont try and learn too much before you go on your course - virgin brains are more receptive - nothing to unlearn, before you start learning LOL.

I have booked with Creative Nail Academy (Manchester). I'm really excited but nervous at the same time, normally deal with truckers as I'm a recruitment officer for a driving agency.... but I feel that I would like to become more womanly and be a little bit more independant by hopefully one day working for myself!! Ha

Sorry Sherry (Mandy) my course starts on 11 Sept in Manchester. although maybe you can point me in the right direction about my model? Can I use the same model for my 3 days? ie no enhancements, rebalance, 1 hand free 1 hand rebalance or do I need a different one for each day? And the nail trainer, is this the false hand thingy-me-bob? (daft questions - I told you!!!)

Thanks, I share the same excitement as you about my course, I start on 11 September, I have never done anything like this before so my excitement is tinged with a little bit of 'oh god... will I be as good as everyone else!' still I am gonna give it my best shot. Good luck

if you go to the top of the page to search...and type in courses, or foundation loads of info will come up for you as loads of geeks have done the creative foundation course and reading the threads will help your nerves a bit  and help ease your worries....one tip when you start your course....ENJOY and dont forget to let us know how you got on and if you need any help/info/ or advicewelcome again xxx
