Hi there. I'm in NSW too. Welome to the wonderful world of nails & geeking. This site is the best thing around. I can't tell you how much I've learnt since I've been a geek & I've been doing nails for 7 years.
Make sure you have a read of the tutorials & articles. Great info there. It's a good idea to put what systems your using in your profile it makes it alot easier for people to help & give you advice. |

Hey ladies..sorry if this ques does not belong to this thread but knowin that all of you guys are located in oz, you are in the best position to offer some advices.
I am planning to complete a diploma of beauty therapy next year and trying to make up my mind about where I should complete this course. Tafe takes longer (need cert3 to get into 4 so u can get into diploma course) but its def way cheaper (under $5000 AUD). For Private colleges im looking at 13-18k for one year diploma course. I have read in other forums where ppl have said that tafe is not bad ..but more theory than practical...Also I would like to keep my options open for workin aboard so would that mean i need CIDESCO/CIBTAC as well as ITEC? Not all colleges in sydney are appoved by these boards..some are CIDESCO accredited and some CIBTAC but not al three which means I am unable to sit for the three tests upon completion of the diploma course I was thinkin maybe CIDESCO is enough already if i wanted to work in europe, U.S, Asia and cruise ships? Any suggestions? In a nut shell Tafe or private college... and is it neccessary to be CIDESCO/CIBTAC/ITEC qualified? Sorry for the long ass msg plz dont hit me !! |
