I am new to this, i have heard alot about this through scratch magazine. firstly my name is Diane, i live in northampton, i am at college doing a nail tech course, well i finsh it in 4 weeks, there is no way that wen i finsh it i will be confident enough to do clients if i did i would never have the guts to charge them, it sickens me that i have spent so much money doing the course, we spent 6 months doing the manicure side of it as well as health and safety, then we spent 4 months doing acrylics and the dreaded fibre-glass, does any body know of a course that i can do as a confidence builder.

there are lots of options out there for you to do more courses for you to help build your confidence but to be honest the only way that you will become more confident is to work on the public once you have complteted your course and get experience.
i felt the same as you but i have got more confident with practiceas long as people know that you have only just qualified then it helps as people do not expect them to be perfect yet.
even though you would have finished your course you will still learn so much.
this site is one of the things that has really helped me and i would be lost without it.
