I am lyndsay, and im new to salon geek. first of all, i would like to make sure i can be a member, if i am not a professioal. i am self taught in acrylic nails, and i am always looking for ways to help me better. I do my own nails, my moms and my sisters, but thats it, haha. So far, i am loving this website!!! It seems to have everything i need. I look forward to being a part of this group!!!!

This site is for professionals hun,
people that have been trained either in college or product houses,
we do not agree with self taught people that call them self's technicians,
this is a lot to do with the reasoning that we work with chemicals on peoples digits, if you are not taught the correct procedures you can cause a lot of harm and damage to peoples digits,
i don't expect you to understand this as you do not have the training to, but i do hope that you understand that this is not written out of malice, but trained experience from working with chemicals.
