I 'm still getting to grips with this site , and only just added to my profile.
I try to keep up to date with the latest posts, but I've found that I can spend hours looking at stuff , and get nothing done around the house. I haven't really looked at the Blogs- there's a few more hours gone. I try to contibute when I've got something helpful to add. Meriden xx |

I scan the blogs quickly but I will probably never write one. Like Izzidoll, I am a very private person and I don't feel comfortable sharing personal details of my life on the internet. Although I do enjoy reading others!
I read everything new, but focus mostly on nails as that is most relevant to me and an area I am able to contribute to. If a post has a lot of pages or a lot of people viewing it, I'll usually check it out so to see what's so interesting. I find it annoying when threads go off on a tangent, especially when it starts out contraversial and a few posters make jokes to diffuse the situation and it turns out that 3 pages are jokes going back and forth, although I do understand the intent of the initial joke. Thought provoking thread, Collin. |

I tend to go straight to "whats new" and have a look through to see what catches my attention, then go nosey at the blogs. I mainly look at the nail & skin topics as they are my interests. I have no idea when it comes to hair and if i'm honest I don't have any interest in it either. JMHO. x |

I don't go there to look at reps, I click on it to see how many of my subscribed threads have had replies ![]() I click on the Moderator forum first of all to see if anyone's been bad LOL, then sort through my pm's, after replying to those and helping whoever needs it I go to What's New, then from there if I've got time I go on to the blogs. I tend to read whats relevent to me, and offer input if I think it will help and only when I am sure of my advice, I have been a member on this site since 2004 but probably only the last year had the confidence (and a lap top of my own) to feel comfortable enough to do this, I stay away from negative threads even though I may have an opinion but feel its probably not my place to get involved.
So come on Collin what about you????? |

Of course not...that would be sheer vanity
...Isn't it funny how us humans routine everything we do...get up in the morning do this then that then this each and every day. The same routines are put into place when logging on here...check this, have a look at that and OMG someones kindly given me a rep point for that piece I did on how to deep fat fry a mars bar the other week..I had completely forgotten about that |

Always the same - last 24 hours. xx |

Everyone seems to click to view the newest posts first, I didn't even know you could do this
I read through the first page or two of the nail, skin, business and chit chat forums, then if I have spare time I browse around and look at critiques, blogs, hair forum, etc. I'm on here everyday but don't post much at the moment. I've sorted out most of my problems with nails so I don't really ask for much advice on here anymore but I don't feel confident enough to offer advice to other newbies yet, IYKWIM. So I'm back to the lurking stage again I guess... I've chatted to a few geeks here and on facebook and have met one in person, but probably won't get the chance to meet to many more geeks since none live near me. ETA - Even though I don't ask as many questions at the moment I think I learn something new from the site everyday |
