After lurking unregistered for a few weeks i finally joined. I've replied to a couple of posts but then thought i should probably say hi myself!

I'm Currently training VTCT Beauty Specialist Level 2 at my local Adult college. I'm due to finish my training mid-july.
I've also just payed for a mobile start up kit and training to learn Tantrick Tanning and then hopefully at the end of the year/ early next year i will also do a course in nail extensions with CND.
I work as a nursery nurse part time and look after my 1 year old son the rest of the time (around my college course).
I enjoy learning new things and have not been out of college/ training for one thing or other since leaving school 7 years ago, i have a national diploma in performing arts, i'm a qualified nursery nurse and also a qualified first aider too. I think after years of searching i have finally found a career path i'm really excited about and can see myself doing for a long time and to feul my love of learning too-i can add to my treaments/ systems etc as i go along.
My hope for the next 1-2 years will be to establish myself as a mobile therapist and then maybe in the long term open my own salon.
People often say i'm a dreamer with my head in the clouds, but i think i'm enthusiastic about life and just have so much ambition!

I really have waffled on, i apologise (just enthusiasm see!?) I look forward to becoming a proper geek and part of this community!

I'm due to finish my course very soon so i've been excited and swatting up on everything i can find to prepare me to get going! And to find my next courses etc.... I've been on here constantly!

Im in southend so we all seem pretty close. My partner calls me a nerd when I come on here and winds me up, but I agree this site is addictive lol enjoy it x
