well im special*K* aka kate.

thank you letting me join this vast and wonderful forum.
A bit about me, well im 31 , married and have 3 children and live in germany (hubbie is HM Forces), i have decided to go back to school and finish my training that i started at 17. i will be doing my city and guilds diploma level 2 course ( a 1 year program) hairdressing.

so can anyone give me hints tips ideas etc as its a long time since i studied .

for hints what books would you recommend?
type of kit i sould get ( the schhol is offering us a very basic set with head block and clamp) for £50 as there is everything else at the school , is it a good idea to start getting a full kit or extras?
