Idea Guild News needs YOU! - 19-10-05, 11:35 AM

Hi Gorgeous Geeks!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Elisabeth Garton and I write features for Guild News magazine, which is the premier title for the beauty industry. Right now I am working on a feature for December's issue on Festive Nail Art and I'd love it if you could help me out!

I'm looking for examples of nail art from 'real' nail techs, including airbrushing, sculpture, rinestones etc, with a festive, holiday or party theme. So if you have any images, photographs, or information, please email them to me at elisabeth@beautyserve.net, along with your name, salon, location and details of how long you've been doing nails.

Also, if you have any hints and tips you may want to share with your fellow nail techs this Christmas, on anything from the best products to use when sculpting to making sure your client's festive nails last all through the party season, they would be very welcome!

I look forward to hearing from you,

Warm regards,

Elisabeth x

Oh Elizabeth - the only information I would love to pass on to other beauticians / technicians is that it is a myth that Nail extensions / enhancements damage your natural nail ...
only a lack of skill by the nail technician (ie over filing) or improper removal (ie picking, biting, lifting, breaking them off) will damage them.

If you could help us do this you would make a lot of Geeks very happy this Christmas!!

Pretty please!

I have just sent you some examples of my xmas 3D stuff that i did last year. My aunt had them on her nails for about 4 weeks over the xmas period and everyone thought they were stickers.

If i can find my pics of her nails i will send them to you.

Great idea.
