My mum has always taught me to be respectful of our fellow competitors and I am proud of the many good relationships we have with them because of this advice. She also taught me to be kind, work hard and make sure my own nails were always PERFECT!!

My mom always told me cutting your nails on a Friday was bad luck!! lol

here is one of my mums handy tip....eating cooking chocolate gives you worms,

i was told ''eat your crusts and you'll have curly hair''

and ''dont eat raw cake mixute it'll give you worms''

but the classic was my from my nan, she used to try and feed us up with bread at every opportunity by saying ''eat you bread or you'll get bread hungry'' still haven't a clue what she meant.

iv been looking for the nail comp rule on pn site and they dont seem to of put them on this time ,when i entered gmex free hand i could download them but iv had no luck HELP i really need em for the photographic section . and will the free hand rules still be the same cuz iv still got them.do u pic your own theme for free hand .i know the theme for photo 1 but only just as there aint no mention of it on entry form or web site,i was a bit shocked when i saw it in pn as id got a idean all planned gotta find my thinking cap now

I overheard my 6 year old Son Sam talking to his 3 year brother George - (who had got a carrot for his end of day snack from school) "i've had two bites off my carrot so I will be able to see better than you in the dark when mum turns the light off" George replied "no Sam I'm 3 and I've eaten 3 so I can see better than you and better than rabbits cos rabbits like carrots don't they" bless

my dad always used to say, " eat your carrots they help you to see" we;d say " how do you know that for sure dad" and hed say, " well you never see a rabbit wearing glasses do you???"

i dont really remember my mum telling me any but i tell my kids loads,
when the kids were younger i told them to make babies you make ginger bread boys or girls and eat them then they grow in your tummy in to a baby
i could write a book with all the things i have told the kids

One that was nail related is i was always told, " White spots were lack of calcium." I couldn't understand why i had them as a kid when all i drank was milk!
