Funky Fingertips

I think it speaks for itself. But now I offer beauty treatments aswell, it is my fingertips that are funky, aswell as the clients.

I named the salon after my cat who was called funky and he was named after my favourite DJ at university!

Im Cuties Nails but the credit has to go to dean as he thought of it, i loved it.

My business name is NailStyle and i just thought hair...hairstyle.....nails.....nailstyle.....its worked well for me and i still love it 3 years later. xx

A little boring i know..But from previous experience, destination specific names can be a real help when you are building your business..You'd be surprised how many people open the telephone book and call simply because it contains the name of the suburb or town where they would like the service done. I believe in the old KISS strategy...Keep it simple silly !!!!

My salon name is Exquisite Touch same as my user name
i chose it because i want people to feel that they have an exquisite set of nails and have enjoyed there experience in the salon

its late maybe its not that good but it sound good right now and this is also what I thought of naming my nails salon 15 years ago when I went to nail school in sierra vista az, Ive worked at home and have been a booth renter still havent opened my own salon this name still pops into my mind

When I eventually set up in business (either mobile or salon-based), I want to call it Amethyst Nails.

This is mainly because of my love of all things purple!

Did a wee search on the internet and there is already an Amethyst Nails in Lincolnshire. Well, *technically* it's Amethyst Nails and Beauty, but they still have the whole "Amethyst Nails" thing going on.

Dang and blast them!!!!

I'm called The Nail Lounge as I actually worked from my lounge at home initially!
I now have a home based salon which is very shabby chic / french boudoir style and clients say they really feel at home.
It still has a lounge style to it rather than a clinical beauty spa feel.
I'm thrilled with the way its turned out as its just sort of morphed into what it is . Everyone comments about it - so that makes it for me!

I have called my company Naturally Creative.
One because I am Creative Trained,
two because I like the word Naturally
and most important of all, because I really am Naturally Creative!

Called my home-based and mobile business "hotnailz" because it rhymes with my new hotmail address!!

And my logo is a flower ( a little like the flowers Miller Harris uses)
I think it suits my salon, simple, and elegant with eye for detail

Hi, my mum and myself were going through loads of naming ideas when i was trying to name my treatment room. I wanted to incorporate nails and beauty so that is why i decided (actually my mum should take all the credit as she came up with the initial idea) on Cutey (as women like to look cute (pretty) and for cuticles (nails)), Beauty - well that explains itself perfectly. Also because i knew that i wanted to, at a later stage, incorporate beauty treatments also. I have had very positive feedback from my clients, saying they love the name and the logo. My treatment room is very girlie, girlie, pink, lilac and homely. Very relaxing i have been told. Please take a look at my web-site, it is now on -line after waiting very paiently for the last couple of months, due to unforseen circumstances with the designer. Still needs tweeking here and there but it is now on-line and i love it. Let me know what you think.
