"Get Nailed & Beautiful". I was originally just "Get Nailed" when I qualified in 2003 but in the last 3 years have gone into other body treatments and needed to say so in my business name, I didnt want to change the name so just added the "& Beautiful" bit on the end.

Well I am exhausted
....never seen this thread before...and how many pages was it????? It was a lot of fun reading it though and seeing how things have evolved over the 3 years it has been running. Well I am Mariposa Nails Mariposa is a word I adore....to me it's a pretty word....and it means Butterfly in Spanish.... whatever business I had it would have had the word Mariposa in there....so I am also Mariposa Cupcakes.... but anyway.... Mariposa keeps the Spanish side of things in perspective and covers that angle so that I don't alienate the Spanish ladies...and the nails is...well...self explanatory.... Unas ( an accent on the N but I have no accent on this puter...so it is said Oon-yas kind of ) is the Spanish for nails....but I didn't want to alienate the British ladies either.......so it is Nails.... So it is a Spanglish name but I think it's pretty |

Hi Alex,
I found the name for my business, Perfection Be-Claws (you Deserve It), because as a make-up artist I have always been known as Perfection, and after duing my first L& P course 7 years ago, and loving the nails my daughter who was then 10, came up with the name BeClaws,...hence the new business name was born, for perfect nails as well!love the name....but it is a bit long.... Have loved reading through all the replies!! I was going with Talontastic....but am going to be doing a depilation course shortly and in the new year a make up course, so it wont just be nails that I will be doing, so I wasnt too sure that it would be the right kind of name, have plenty time to decide though as I will have a few months of practise practise practise before I will be attempting to go public x

I have named my business Enhanced by Keeley
I think it sums up what I do, I enhance the way people want to look, and as I want to incorporate beauty into my business within the next year I wanted a name that I wouldn't have to change. I like it, it works for me. There are some fab names out there, my fav has got to be 'get nailed and fake it', not sure if I would be brave enough to use it though heehee xx |
