When i get up and running i'm hoping for the name 'Diamond Nails' with the slogun 'Time To Sparkle'.

Mine is Butterfly Beauty. I thought it's got a nice ring to it and it's about transforming from something average to something beautiful (catterpillar to butterfly)

any business name should be about originality, when you think you have a brilliant name, just google it to see how original you actually are.

If you use something similar to someone else, you are simple hoping to "trade-off) someone else's name and idea and you may find yourself liable for compensation.

New names are difficult, but if your business is about originality and creativity, try to demonstrate it in you own trading name.

Some silly cow here opened a nailzoo in another state, she dug her own grave quick smart when people realised it had no association with me.

I also had a steady stream of a few hundred people ringing the salon asking for me She ended up spending so much time on the phone she had no time for nails.

It was very funny the day I rang and asked "are there any messages for me".

She lasted 6 months, silly bitch and now lives under a rock forever regretting trying to emulate the original.

hi, i start my taining later this month and have come up with my name, im not sure if im going to be mobile or salon based yet but i have come up with
Aradia Nails.
i have googled it, checked on business registers etc and its not anywhere.
Aradia is a pagan goddess, she is the queen of the witches.
i like it as im very much into spritual things such as wicca and paganism, and when i asked my freinds and explained what it ment, they all laughed and said, "only you could come up with that! its very you!!" lmao.
and a plus side is that its in the "A's" in phone books etc lol

and a friend of mine has called herself Sparkelishus

It's very cool and original, much better than nails by "Sweaty Betty"

You will find you can attract a certain clientèle with your business name.

mmmmm well my name is 'Lillys' Its three fold really, a) the hebrew of Susan (when i'm not known as catsaremad lol) is Lily, b)my beloved nan was called Lily c) most importantly to me, one I don't share with clients, is that my one and only pregnancy was going to be a girl and I have always called her Lilly.

I have called mines "blossom" witht he tagline helping you bloom. A girl at a course I am on using a suggestion I made to her, she was wanting something to do with butterflies, and I came up with "chrisalis" thought it was kinda fitting as you go in one way, and when you come out something is looking beter?? x ruth

I keep trying to think of a name for when I have my own place (one day!) or when I'm renting etc, but I'm so rubbish at thinking of stuff like that. On an assignment at college we have to create a sort of new employee booklet, so my imaginary salon is "Pink Flamingo" I thought it was OK at first but now I've gone right off it grrrr! And I googled it and there is a salon up north with the same name so I take it that means I can't have it?

I did want my name in it originally but Lucy doesn't fit with anything beauty related which sounds good

My cousin in Boston Massachusetts came up with my name when I went to him to host my website. (WebbTekk)
At first, he came up with "Wicked Awesome Nails", wicked awesome being a common term there.
Then he came up with "My Nails Rock!". I started out with some very heavy guitar rifts on the home page and he loves my nail art. I left it to him and there we have it, almost 4 years later.
