when i was trying to think up my salon name.... all i could think of was gorgeous .... and i thought that it would sound kinda cool when answering the phone..."good afternoon gorgeous..." well i really had my heart set on it but i dont know when i changed my mind but i ended up choosing Polished Nails Salon & Education Centre (Polished for short) ... i know its quite a common salon name but once i thought of having it, nothing else fitted and good morning gorgeous etc... went out the window!

Max Nails
Here is my home based salon's name! My salon is not quite open or finished, but my business cards and promos are all done and this is the name I am sticking with! The reason is a little mooshy mooshy , lol , but I got attached to this name very quickly. My boyfrind's name Is Maxim, so...Max and Nails together...MaxNails!! It also refers to MAXIMUM....maximum beauty of nails and feet, maximum stenght....I find it is simple and catchy and nobody has to know I named business after my boyfriend's name!! Lots of great names on here! ![]() |

Hey all
This is my first ever post. I am going to be starting training soon, but have already come up with a name for my home based business "Get Polished!". I really wanted "Get Nailed!" but hubby thought it was way too dodgy...also, it's taken. So yeah GET POLISHED! is what I am going to have What do you all think? |

I really need to come up with a name quickly! Been racking my brain for a few months now and all the good names have been taken. What do you guys think of the name "Sparklers!" (most of my ladies want the glitters) ? One friend loved it and another said it makes her think of fireworks! Any opinions or ideas greatly appreciated.

Chiodi does mean "nails" in Italian. A single nail is called "chiodo". However, I have a feeling that its nails as in hammer and nails. Having looked up fingernail, the Italian is "Unghie". Please bear in mind that I do not speak Italian, but have just looked it up in the dictionary. River |
