I have been considering finding another name for it 'cause people can't really remember it and it's nok that catchy ..

Anyone got any ideas for me? I'm starting mobile but I want I name I can keep perhaps for when I get a salon?
Any suggestions much appreciated?
I was going to choose an unusual name, perhaps something in my dad's language, he is Nigerian and speaks igbo. I'm worried people won't be able to pronounce it though they have a hard enough time saying my surname.
I want something catchy yet different.

My Salon is called Gorgeous.
And it is just great when answering the phone..... Good morning Gorgeous...
It really has a great impact on some people it really makes their day.
How I got the name was with the help of my Uncle he is great at marketing and a successful buisness man in his own right and was really eager to get involved when I was setting up. We had this mad conversation about what to call the salon and I was hamming it up a bit and pretending to be Edina from Ab Fab - get the picture
there was this great scene in one of the episodes where she is about to open a shop and she is going on in true Eddie style "its got to be just gorgeous sweetie darling with just gorgeous things sweetie..... while quaffing down Bolly and fag in hand .... for those who loved that show you will know what I am talking about Anyway my uncle said well thats it ..... just call it gorgeous. So I did , love the name, and so do my clients

say if someone in the uk has a particular name for their salon, is someone in australia aloud to have the same name..?

there are many salons in the UK with the same name that are not linked.

My understanding is that it only becomes an issue if the company is limited and has registered with Companies House, but again others may have a better understanding on this than me.

I called myself "Perfection nail & beauty @ home" because I am mobile and I am a total perfectionist - but also called it this because we strive for perfection in everything we do - we want perfect skin nails hair etc etc.

I also like the name "true" as in "True beauty co"...I think it sounds like a great franchise name - I think anyway!!

P.S the only reason that i have done this yell.com etc advertise salons A-Z

Soooo my salon A Pro File was on the first pages

and my new name... Advanced Beauty Clinic (ABC on the first page)
