Hi guys, had so much fun reading this thread!!! I can just imagine everyone sat trying out different names and seeing how they roll off the tongue.
When I first started mobile nails and beauty, I was gonna call it 'Chrysalis'. My reasoning for that was before you have your treatment, you are plain or dull or even ugly However, I didn't go with it in the end. Just Nails and Beauty by Michelle. Still, a few I came up with, but don't know if anyone else has them; Butterflies, The Talon Salon, Nailworks,The Nail Studio, The Nail Gallery...Could be thinkin here all night lol...... Mine is Halo Therapies
When I originally started out it was HALO which stood for Holistic Aura Life Objectives I only offered holistic treatments then I then went into the beauty side so I changed it to Halo Therapies as I'm a little angel (lol) and on my logo I have a halo within the o of my name.... |

Mine is called "Salon 10/10", cause I do nails and pedicures.
Had origanially wanted to call my business "claws and paws", but people thought I worked with cats. LOL Thought it was kinda catchy. How about: Sculpts Have a friend that is quite a joker, we went to nail school together, and she says I should call mine "Nubs & Nuckles", Not So Much!! |

My business is called Nails At Last because when most people come to me for the first time their nails are generally short, then with in a couple of weeks of having on enhancements their nails grow and one of the first expressions is ahhh Nails At Last.

Hi all
My mobile nail business is called The Upper Hand. I thought of it years ago when I was having the usual day dream we all have about owning a salon, when I went officially mobile this year, yellow pages etc I just went for it. My reasoning is that us ladies usually if not always have 'The Upper Hand !!' Take care |

My business name is 'Nails at Home'.
I started out mobile and thought it just fitted the bill as i do do nails in peoples homes. I now spend more time in my home based salon so now i'm doing 'nails at my home!' When i originally named it i wanted to be like this - Nails@Home, but my bank wouldn't accept it & neither could i get my tunic printed up unless i paid extra, so the only thing that looks like that are my business cards ( I had 1000 printed!!!!!) One way or another though, the name still seems it fits the bill. I've toyed with the idea of changing it as I tried to register it at Companies House and there is already a Nails at Home Ltd so i could be Nails at Home (Lincs) Ltd i suppose. |

Like Michelle G, My salon is called just 'Angela's - Nails, Beauty & Day Spa'
I know it's not very original, but my sister's hair salon is next door - called 'Marina's ' I had thought of Wax & Relax or The Sanctuary, however most folk in this small town would just say 'Angela's salon' ........... |

after hours shouting, arguing and debating with mother and my sisters, i came up with the name
URBAN BEAUTY ever since opening i've noticed product name such as urban deacy, urban retreat (harrods), so i was just in time to get the name befor someone else did. now some of my clients call me the urban chick! personally i hate the name" so i just smile and laugh. we're a young, hip and friendly salon with a modern and professional approach. the best thing about opening a salon was chosing the name, good luck |

I'm just NAILED! It suits me and ny clients who come to me are all a bit naughty, so by saying theyve been nailed! always raises an eyebrow or two!!
All my sets are done to the best of my ability and are not slapped on like some I know, so I like to think that I've nailed the art of beautiful fingers!! |
