Mine is
PINK! I was '@ your fingertips' before that but I do loads of pedicures, nail art & spray tans and didn't want to limit my business by the name also thee are a few places round my way that use a play on the words Nail/fingers etc. WHY PINK!? Well everything I do is for women and what is the universal girly colour?... PINK! is the colour for us eh??????? It has been well rcieved & I've had loads of comments from people & decoratd accordingly it makes the salon an inviting cheerful place to be. Alialy |

hi all, this is an interesting thread and I thought I would put my two pence worth in as well
I am workiing from home and decided to cal my business "twice as nice" I wanted to think of a catchy name and so I got some polo shirts for myself with "twice as nice" embroided on, I wandered round town when not working wearing my poloshirt and quicky realised "twice as nice" meant absolutly nothing to anyone but myself. I then had to send my uniform back to "Vantel" to get them to add on underneath "twice as nice" the words NAIL STUDIO. now that made more sense. Twice as nice is what I want my business to be, twice as nice as the competition, twice as nice experience for my clients, products that are twice as nice. its difficult to do that but the essesnce is focused on being better. it also inspires me to aim for reach and maintain this standard and everytime i think of my business name it encourages me to work harder at what I want to become and acheive as a Nail Tech. At some point in my career I hope and aim to move from home into a high street salon, at that point I will change my busines name to my own name with the words "professional nail studio" underneath. it is that way with most top professionals in the beauty industry.... Marco Benito , Leighton Denny and in hair Nicky clarke, Trevor Sorbie etc it is very professional and I hope that I will one day I am skilled enough to have my own business and studio that I can call after my own name. |
