I have two names, the one I am using at present is Body Matters because I do beauty aswell as nails. However once I am confident enough and have enough clients to get my own salon it will be called Praeclarus which is latin for beautiful.

Thanks for all the fab ideas! After much thought I've decided on Nail Finesse (hope I've not copied someone elses name, I did Google it and do a search on here!) Although I loved becki's name I decided to keep it simple and didn't want to be chained to glitter!

ive called my salon beauty spot, because of the obvious and that we are in a sea side mid wales town and its known as a local beauty spot, everyone loves it!!

My brother came up with my name which is "oh so cuticle" I have to say for someone who has always worked in the medical field I tought his name was brill!!

Hey well just reading this thread and i called mine Kt'z Nailz as my name is katie and i do nails but i want to expand i love some of the names on here though xx

Funny enough, I have been thinking about it today and I have decided on Handy Nail Bar? What do you think? Would any of you actually go to a nail bar called Handy Nail Bar? I have other ideas too but my husband said it was handy so it just stuck...

naming salons is all about originality ......... THINK THINK THINK!!!!!!

I am hoping to do more than just nails and when talking to people about my chosen career change I kept refering to it as All Things Beauty so I thought I would stick with that!!

I am doing up a salon at the moment and hope to open at the begining of next month. My name is going to be ...... tiptoze - the z is a curly one and looks like two fingers/toes together, which is my logo.

As you can se in my avatar, my salon name is NoLimitNails because there is no limit to what I can do with the nails (or at least my imagination of what to do with nails)

was at earls court yesterday and see the lovely Creative team........

any way the our directors and staff were out for the outing, so they could see what goes on, poor things, like mushrooms, as we had finished our drinks in the VIP lounge, we went out only to see two young wipper snappers with badges stating the same name!!!!!! ooooooo ouch, what are they playing at??
after being gob smacked, our director takes chase through the crowd followed by his disiples, and halts them at the door.
can i see your name badge he politely asks. the young man looked shocked.
to which he replied, when did you LIMIT your company, to which they replied, we havent, aaahhh, so why are using this name then, this is a limited company.
to which the young girly replied, her tutor at college had said, "think of a name you like and use it"!!!!!! she had come up with ours.
we obvioulsy went on to explain, that, really she couldnt use that name, and would have to use and adaptation of it, and then regisister it at companies house.............
i off course introduced her to the nail geek, and, wished a her luck whilst they assured us that they wouldnt use our name.

did any one else have the same problem yesterday, or was seeing double.
has any one else had this problem outside the trade show??

and where was Ez flow and Andrew Buckley yesterday, did we miss them?

think this is good too, we used this slogan for a leaflet drop 2 years a go, and it was catchy and witty................

hi this has fab ring to it, we used this as leaflet drop 2-3years ago, jewel in the nail........offering a pyramid of offers and eqyptian theme.

went down a treat!!
